Yinggangling Mining Bureau

Yinggangling Mining Bureau was first established in May 1965. It used to be a giant enterprise run by the National Coal Industry Ministry, and now it is one of the four giant mining bureaus, which are directly managed by Jiangxi Coal Group. It is an important production base for the coal industry in Jiangxi.

Yinggangling Mining Bureau is composed of Yinggangling mining area of Gaoan and Luoshi area of Fengcheng. These two parts have a distance of 100 km. Yinggangling mining area is located at the southwest part of Gaoan City where Xinyu City and Zhangshu City share their common boundary, having an area of 230 square km. Luoshi area is situated at the south part of Fengcheng City and has an area of 70 square km. The Bureau now is managing about twenty second-class units such as five pairs of production mining wells, cement plant, firearms factory, heat-engine plant, calcium carbonate factory, kaolin plant, plastic plant, machine repair plant, gangue-brick factory, construction installation company etc.

Yinggangling Mining Bureau has been contributing much to supply the coal shortage in southern China, to ease the pressure of transferring coal from north to south and to promote the local economic development since its establishment. As the national policy inclination and support the coal industry and the requirement of the self development and construction, Yinggangling Mining Bureau is exerting efforts to excavate the potentiality, developing non-coal enterprises and following the path of “Be coal-centered, but develop out of coals”, thus the new-round development of the enterprises is accelerated.

Shanghai Huaming Hi-Tech (Group) Co., Ltd

National Engineering Research Center of Ultrafine Powder & Shanghai Huaming Hi-Tech (Group) Co., Ltd established in October 1994, approved by National Plan Commission and National Education Commission. Attaching to ECUST, it is the first joint-stock experimental unit of national engineering research center. National Engineering Research Center of Ultrafine Powder was entitled as one of the 82 national engineering centers by National Plan Committee in October 2001. The research center and Huaming Group mainly conduct the research of the preparation and engineering technology of ultrafine powder and the relevant materials. For years, the research center has developed dozens of high-tech achievement and several patents by which it attracted considerable investment and established 8 sub-companies.

The research center and Huaming Group has a research group composed of several academic leaders in the relative fields like chemistry, chemical engineering, material and physics, as well as technological staff full of rich experience of industrialization. They are taking development work of several national and provincial projects, and offering numerous technology support and service for enterprises.

The research center and Huaming Group has been conducting the research and development on the fabrication technology and industrialization of ultrafine calcium carbonate since 1980's. And it has respectively built an industrial experimental line with the scale of 3000-ton annual production of ultrafine calcium carbonate, an industrial production line with the scale of 7000-ton annual production and a production base of nanometer calcium carbonate with 15,000-ton annual production. The product of calcium carbonate was awarded the National New products, the golden prize of science and technology exhibition of Shanghai, and the second prize of excellent new products in Shanghai. And ultrafine calcium carbonate technology was verified to be the successful transformation project of Shanghai High-tech achievement.
